Our Company has selected six variety suitable at the climate condition and cultivating soil for giving every year an a good harvesting. You can find the Frantoio variety, Cima di Melfi, Cipressino, Leccino and the secular variety "Ogliarola Pugliese"
Frantoio Variety

A unique olive taste but also artichoke, almond and spicy notes
The "Frantoio" variety has origin in Tuscant but since 1820/1850 is farmed in our land and improve our land and feast with his fruit. The main feature of Frantoio reagrd to a stable and generous production. The apperarance of Frantoio is recognizable because has a important foliage but a medium heigh (Max 7/10 mt). His branch become a knobby after 30 year.
Cima di Melfi variety

A clear artichoke taste, cicory and almond with a bitter aftertaste and slightly spicy
The "Cima di Melfi" is a local variety of Melfi, a little town in Basilicata. It was introduced in the last 60/70 yars in apulian landscape and the huge distribution is result of his large production and the good oil taste. The farmer with this variety in his field know that have medium/little tree but with a huge personality.
Leccino Variety

Frash grass, almond and cicory flavour
Taste feature
A clear taste of almond and artichoke. The premature harvesting confer a bitter and spicy aftertaste but in a regular harvesting his taste is more sweet with accentuated almond notes.
L'Olivo "Leccino" è una varietà di origine toscana ma è diffusissimo in tutto il resto del paese e qui da noi in Puglia. Ha un portamento vigoroso ed espanso e produce delle ottime olive di media grandezza la cui resa si attesta circa al 15/18%. La tardiva raccolta amplifica la rotodità e la dolcezza del suo gusto.
